Thea began her journey into the world of Chinese dance at the young age of four. Driven by a deep passion for dance, she pursued her undergraduate degree in Dance Choreography and later completed a Master’s degree in Dance Studies at the University of Auckland. Throughout her dance career, Thea has achieved remarkable success, winning numerous awards in dance competitions across China.

Katie is from New Plymouth and began her dance career studying RAD ballet and NZAMD
Jazz.
She moved to Melbourne when she was accepted for full-time training at the Australian ballet school and danced various ballet at the Melbourne State Theatre and Sydney Opera house.
Katie danced for Black Grace dance company and toured Nationally.
Katie went abroad to dance with Royal Caribbean International in musical theatre shows. She trained in America and Dubai as an aerial artist and performed in shows for Royal Caribbean.
Katie has a Bachelor of performance and screen arts (BPSA) and a diploma in classical ballet.
Katie is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of dance ARAD RTS (registered
Teacher)

Diana Hu

Diana’s journey in Ballroom dancing began at the age of four, when her passion for rhythm and performance first took root. At thirteen, she earned first place and admission to a prestigious professional dance academy, showcasing her remarkable talent and potential. She has since become a finalist in the professional category at numerous national Ballroom dancing competitions, proving her excellence time and again on the competitive stage. Diana is a graduate of the University of Auckland’s Dance Department and is currently pursuing studies in High School Dance Education at Auckland University of Technology (AUT). Beyond her achievements in performance and academics, Diana is an experienced and inspiring dance teacher. She has choreographed for high school productions, bringing stage dreams to life, and has taught public classes for both children and adults, guiding every dancer with patience and passion. For Diana, dance is not just about technique and rhythm—it is a way of expressing grace, perseverance, and the joy of connection.

Erika Li is a professional ballet instructor based in Guangzhou and a graduate of the Dance Study program at The University of Auckland (Aut University). She has a solid foundation in Russian-style ballet and years of teaching experience.

Man Hee Park
Man Hee Park is originally from Seoul, South Korea, where she began her dance training in Vaganova ballet and traditional Korean dance.
During her two years with the Korean National Ballet’s Young Dancer Programme, she performed as one of Clara’s friends in The Nutcracker. She later attended Deokwon Arts High School, receiving three years of intensive training in Vaganova ballet, contemporary dance, and traditional Korean dance.
After graduating from high school, Man Hee moved to New Zealand to study at Unitec, where she completed a Bachelor of Performing and Screen Arts, majoring in Contemporary Dance.
She began her teaching career at Sydney Dance Academy and has since returned to New Zealand. She currently teaches the APDA Contemporary Dance syllabus and RAD Ballet while working towards the RAD Certificate in Dance Teaching (CDT).
Man Hee specialises in ballet, contemporary dance, traditional Korean dance, lyrical dance, private coaching, and dance competition preparation.

Grace has received professional dance training from a young age and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dance from Hubei Minzu University. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Dance Studies at the University of Auckland.
With seven years of professional dance teaching experience, Grace specialises in Chinese Classical Dance, Contemporary Dance, Ballet Fundamentals, and Acrobatic Skills.
Throughout her dance career, Grace has participated in a wide range of dance performances and professional practice projects. She also has extensive experience in coaching students for school arts festivals and dance competitions, where her students have achieved excellent results.
Grace is passionate about supporting students in developing strong dance foundations, confidence, artistry, and performance skills through professional and encouraging dance education.

Peiyao Mu
Peiyao Mu is currently pursuing a PhD in Dance Studies at the University of Auckland. She has received systematic professional dance training and has extensive stage performance experience, including participation in national- and provincial-level performances.
Peiyao has experience teaching children’s Chinese dance, fundamental dance techniques, and repertoire, as well as working with students across different age groups. She is passionate about helping students develop strong technical foundations while building confidence and performance skills.
In her teaching, Peiyao adapts her approach to each student’s age, ability level, and individual characteristics. Through structured and engaging training, she encourages students to build solid dance skills, improve their confidence, and express themselves with greater confidence on stage.
