Terms and Conditions for Star Dance

Welcome to Star Dance! Thank you for choosing us for your dance education. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all our students, please carefully read the following Terms and Conditions. By registering for a course or using our services, you agree to comply with these terms.

1. Registration & Admission

1.1 Registration Requirements
All new and returning students must complete a formal registration process either through our online platform or at the school’s front desk. Students will be permitted to attend classes only after receiving a confirmation of registration.

1.2 Age & Skill Requirements
Certain dance classes may have specific age or skill requirements. We encourage parents and students to verify the suitability of a course before enrolling. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our administration team for advice.

1.3 Updating Student Information
Please ensure that the personal information provided at registration is accurate. If any details (such as address or contact information) change, it is the student’s responsibility to update their information promptly.

2.  Classes & Scheduling

2.1 Class Schedule & Changes
All class schedules and content are subject to change. Star Dance reserves the right to modify class times, locations, and instructors due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather or instructor availability. Any schedule changes will be communicated to students via email or posted on our official website.

2.2 Class Cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel a class if the minimum enrollment requirement is not met. In such cases, students will receive a full refund or be offered alternative classes.

2.3 Trial Classes & Class Transfers
If a student finds that a course is not suitable, they may request a transfer to another class. Transfers must be requested within 7 days of the course start date. Trial classes are available as an introductory session, and the trial fee will be applied to the regular course fee if the student decides to enrol.

3. Fees & Payment

3.1 Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are listed on our website and may be subject to change based on market conditions. The fees cover teaching, venue use, and other associated costs. Specific course fees will be provided at the time of enrollment.

3.2 Payment Methods
We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, bank transfers, and cash payments. Full payment is required before the course start date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3.3 Refund Policy
– Refund Before Course Start: If you decide to cancel your registration before the course starts, we will refund 80% of the course fee.
– Refund After Course Start: Once a course has begun, no refunds will be issued. However, if a student is unable to continue due to health or other exceptional circumstances, the school will review the situation and offer a partial refund or alternative arrangements.
– Refunds in Special Circumstances: In cases of illness or unforeseen events, the school may offer a refund or a course adjustment at its discretion.

3.4 Late Payment
If payment is not made on time, the school reserves the right to deny access to classes until payment is received.

4. Student Conduct & Responsibilities

4.1 Code of Conduct
All students are expected to adhere to the school’s code of conduct and classroom behavior standards. Students should treat instructors and fellow students with respect and maintain a positive learning environment. Any form of bullying, harassment, or inappropriate behavior may result in expulsion from the program.

4.2 Attendance & Punctuality
Students are expected to attend classes regularly and arrive on time. If you are unable to attend a class, please notify your instructor in advance. The school does not offer makeup classes or supplementary lessons for missed sessions.

Students must wear appropriate dance attire and footwear for each class. Specific dress code requirements may apply for certain classes. Please refer to the class description for detailed guidelines. Students are not allowed to wear jewelry or accessories that could pose a safety risk during classes.

4.4 Health Declaration
All students must declare that they are physically fit to participate in dance classes. If a student has any health concerns or injuries, they should inform their instructor in advance to ensure proper safety measures are taken. The school is not responsible for injuries sustained due to undisclosed health conditions or negligence.
